Team Rymera is looking for an experienced content writer slash marketing ninja with experience in the eCommerce space to join our growth team.
If you’ve used WooCommerce, have epic writing skills, know your way around a screenshot, and love writing catchy sales emails… we want to talk to you!
As a member of the group marketing team you’ll be helping us promote our eCommerce tools. You’ll be writing regular email content to engage our 100,000+ subscribers, helping us set up promotions, and pumping out amazing how-to educational blog content.
Our company’s mission is to help our customers, who are store owners, grow their ecommerce store.

Common Responsibilities:
This role will give you plenty of opportunities to stretch your creativity.
- Blog content writing and editing
- Product/feature announcements
- Setting up sales (doing landing page copy, writing sales emails, scheduling social media posts)
- Taking screenshots, basic editing and light graphics work
- Learning & researching (tools & tech, industry stats, and most importantly product knowledge)
Bonus Skills To Set You Apart:
- A desire, drive, and passion for your craft
- Excellent written & spoken English, but also the ability to adjust your writing style as needed
- The ability to articulate ideas and describe processes (we do lots of how-to style content)
- Understanding of on-page SEO and how to apply it to written content for the web
- Experience working and producing content at volume with efficiency
- Comfortable accepting feedback from managers and peers, plus the ability to review others work and provide feedback as well
- A producer mindset – our team is high performing, we create like the wind
- Flexibility – sometimes we need to all pull together and that means you’ll get to grow in tangential marketing areas
- Comfortable communicating with technical team members such as developers and support engineers

Location & Other Requirements
This is a remote position – our team is spread out all over the world. The company is based in Brisbane, Australia so company operating hours are 9am to 5pm AEST (UTC +10).
While it’s not required that you cover that exact timezone, you must be available during a portion of the day for informal/formal meetings & work assignments.
Other Requirements:
- Modern laptop/desktop computer system. Preferably using Windows 10/11, MacOS, or Linux.
- Reliable fixed broadband internet connection (Ideally a fibre connection for stability + access to a backup).
- Availability to participate in audio/video meetings with your team mates. Most of us work within a couple hours of Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
- A webcam, headset, and a quiet place to work.
